Welcome to the SUHSD Food Services Department

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

In an effort to improve speed of service, the Sequoia Union High School District will gradually introduce “cashless” food lines in all school cafeterias and food service areas. Our goal is to have completely cashless food lines by spring of 2019, and completely cashless food service operations by fall of 2019.

Our goal is to move to a completely cashless program by Fall Semester 2019. We understand this transition may cause some inconvenience. That is why for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year, cash and check deposits will still be accepted by the Food Services Lead in our cafeterias.

What does this mean for your student?

  • Beginning November 2018, various food service lines will be identified as CASHLESS which means your student will not be able to purchase food at that window using cash.
  • Prepayment on student food service accounts will be required for all food purchases at CASHLESS windows.
  • Cash and check payments/prepayments will only be accepted at school at designated food service windows before school, during brunch and lunch.
  • Beginning January 2019, cash payments will no longer be accepted at any food lines during meal service times. All food purchases must be made using prepayment accounts.
  • Students participating in the Free and Reduced Meal programs will not be affected by this change unless they are planning to purchase additional snack and beverage items that are not part of School Meal Programs.
  • One designated Cash Deposit line per site will be made available throughout the the year for students to deposit money into their accounts.

We highly encourage families to consider prepaying for meals using the Infinite Campus parent portal on-line prepayment system.  Please refer to the Food Services website for details on how to prepay:
